Merch mania begins again!!

It's going to be nuts for sure...0

I have no idea why they haven't at least tried this?!? Of course they'd still sell it at the show, but you wouldn't need a merch tent open at noon. You could limit it to one bundle for every city the member has won. Designate a specific merch booth in the venue and you pick them up anytime during the show.Hoccapuk said:

Do it already!!!
I understand this only helps fans that won the lottery, but any other way and you have flippers again.0 -
Can never avoid flippers, they always find a way0

I second that. Pay now. Cut in front of line for pick up.Hoccapuk said:

As much as I'd love to get some merch from the MSG shows. It was enough to convince my wife we needed a Pearl Jam New York trip. I can't really make her stand in line half the day on top of the shows.0

10c knows who won tickets too which show so why not send show specific emails out to members offering them the chance to buy merch online a few days after the show.
But that would take away the mayhem of the merch lines at the venues.... Those long merch lines look good on tv.
By the way I am one of the people who wait in long lines for merch.London Ontario 2013, Buffalo New York 2013, Lincoln Nebraska 2014, Quebec City 20160 -
It'd be nice if they just took a chill pill on the posters for Fenway and Wrigley. Say, 1 poster per show...maybe 2 tops.0

If I were a fan club member that lost out on tickets, I would be frustrated but understand it is just a lottery. Now if the fan club adds an additional benefit of access to posters and merch too for those with fan club tickets, then I'm pissed off. It wasn't too big a deal at PJ20, but personally I was a little pissed that the people with fan club tickets got these nice little gift bags. I was a big fan too, had gone to 50 shows at that time, probably spent $15k on merch over the years, etc... and I felt a little disrespected. Obviously not a big deal and got over it, but still lets not make merch a lottery too.hsohi said:10c knows who won tickets too which show so why not send show specific emails out to members offering them the chance to buy merch online a few days after the show.

That's a great point and I would have to be on your side of that one. So how about if you at least entered for that show in the lottery then you qualify for a 10c merch bundle? That way you CAN'T be denied at least the merch. Yes the line would be a little longer than winners only, but still better than the free for all line.bootlegger10 said:

Oh c'mon we're not getting gift bags. Fine, let's limit it to a poster and sticker. You'd still pay for it. I'm trying to work with the information 10 club has. It's not like they're going to ask/confirm every member that bought a ticket to a specific show through TM/Stubhub/CL, so then we'd back to flippers, in this case, now joining the club to get GA tickets and a poster to every show.0

Finally gave up on the stickers...indifferentman said:Not for me! The smartest decision I have made was to stop buying merch. Know I enjoy my show day, go do some sight seeing, get something to eat, drink, etc. and get there when I want to instead of standing in line all day possibly in sweltering heat only to find that when I get to the front of the line the guy in front of me bought 6 posters and they are all gone.
Trying to give up on the posters, and just let the show be the experience in and of itself...
Embarrassed to admit how hard this decision is, ha.PJx77

I'm surprised they haven't worked something out. A system where all 10C members have the chance to pick up atleast a poster and a shirt. Hopefully this is the yeardemetrios said:Let's just hope this tour the 10club will take pre orders for those who have a 10club ticket to the show. Have combos available for us. I can't think of a bigger waste of time then sitting in line for hours for a poster/sticker/t-shirt/ect. But to each their own. I know others wouldn't spend several hours in a bar/tailgating like I do, so........0

I wish. Just imagine the 10club ticket window opens early in the morning. Included with our ticket is an additional golden ticket where we can purchase 1 poster & sticker (2 total) after the show. Exclusive to 10club ticket holders. Back in 2008 they gave out wristbands for those who wanted to pick up their poster after the show. That's how I picked up my Hartford & Mansfield night 1 & 2 prints. Wasn't lucky on the MSG ones but scored the set with the Ames Bros sub.Deegz said:

I would love though that '09 option where those who did score a 10club ticket were able to pre order 2 posters online where 10club would ship to posters to you.0 -
It won't happen because the band doesn't want it to happen. They want those that show up early and line up for merch to be rewarded for their effort. It's the reason only a certain amount of posters and stickers are sold. They know they could easily print double the amount and it will still sell but they prefer not to.Deegz said:I'm surprised they haven't worked something out. They should just do a pre-order for 10c people online. Or even do it made to order with a designated time window to buy it and it ships as soon as it is made.demetrios said:
