    wow times are changing. When I seen them at MSG in 08 I paid $80/night for a room..

    I wish I would have seen this earlier ... I paid 290.00 for a room and I heard or have read online the hotel charges another $45 at check in ... Which is total bs !!

    Bumping this for Janet. I did not know her before booking this room but she was a pleasure to work with and IMO got us all a smoking deal at this hotel. Based on the Trip Advisor reviews, this looks like a really nice hotel right by MSG and if you're traveling to the NY shows (or any other shows she has group rates for), this is worth a look, That rooftop bar that overlooks the city and MSG looks like a fantastic pre-show party spot!

    If anyone's still looking, there are some major deals going on for NYC (or everywhere, not sure?). It might be a leapyear day thing, not sure.

    I was booked at nyma, but just cancelled it and am switching to the Wyndham New Yorker. We are booked from Friday night through Monday night. Base price was $171 per, but there's a 15% off travelocity code (JANHOTEL15US) that works. In the end, after taxes and resort fees, the 4 nights come to a hair under $200 per night. It's not a 5 star place, but it's a block form MSG and the price is right for Manhattan.

    No worries, I got it, thanks so much! Was starting to get pretty disheartened about NYC prices with our Canadian dollar. This makes this (by New York standards) very reasonable!
