    O'Yeah can't wait! Seven hour drive but so worth it... Then on to Jazz Fest close to home in New Orleans. Love the tour dates hope there are some for the West Coast folks too.

    Driving in from New Orleans. Super stoked. Anyone have an idea of what the Memorial Arena is like? Small, big, intimate etc ?

    Hey, anyone have a suggestion of a good hotel in Jacksonville? someplace you can walk or UBER to easily?

    It seats around 15,000. To compare, the Scottrade Area in St. Louis seats a little over 19,000

    I should be there! Just gotta figure out my transportation :)... coming from Birmingham is not a bad drive... and flying almost would take almost as long.

    I'll be coming down from chilly MN, and pretend the reason I'm coming down to see my Dad. BUt really, its to see PJ at least 2x.

    Here in Jacksonville we have been voted the LEAST walkable city in the country. YES WE DID IT!!! We ARE working on fixing it but not in time for this show.

    For hotels there are a few in the urban core by the landing but I would not let walking influence your choice. You will most likely be driving or ubering around. It is abit of a hike from the landing to Veterans. The best restaurants downtown are hole in the walls away from the landing; Burrito Gallery, Indochine, and food trucks near Hemming Park. Best breakfast places are Maple Street Biscuit Company and Metro Diner in San Marco.

    The Hampton Inn is nice near downtown (that is where my wedding guests stayed). They say it is the "downtown" one but it is really in San Marco and on the south bank of the river.

    Maple Street Biscuit is awesome. One of the few places I've ventured to since I moved here. Almost 2 years ago.

    Too bad I can't afford the flight. Odds are beautiful for this show!! Damn it!!
