lyrically a lot of uh huh ha

    Hold on to the thread
    The currents will shift
    Glide me towards
    You know something's left
    And we're all allowed
    To dream of the next
Oh, oh the next, time we touch

    Uh huh, uh huh
    Uh huh, uh huh

    You don't have to stray
    Tho oceans away
    Waves roll in my thoughts
    Hold tight the ring
    The sea will rise
    Please stand by the shore
Oh, oh, oh, I will be
I will be there once more

    Uh huh, uh huh
    Uh huh, uh huh
    Uh huh, uh huh
    Uh huh, uh huh

l really liked Sirens when I first heard it. but somehow, the song didnt quite stand the test of time with me. I still like it, just not something I want to hear all the time.

Actually uncomfortable is a great word to describe how I feel about sirens too. I feel a little bad admitting that. I always feel a sense of relief when it's over. Especially live or on bootlegs. I guess they had trouble with it a few times and hearing some very bad sirens train wrecks actually gave me a little anxiety about whether they will get through it. Stressful. lol

I do like both of these songs, but can relate more to Sirens. However, the live versions of Siren I heard never quite measured up to the live versions of Oceans.

Sirens without any doubt! Love the song - especially the lyrics
Run away my son. See it all. Oh see the world.

Tough one, but sirens is universal in message and scope. With my mum struggling with cancer at the time I could relate, the song was played at her funeral. Oceans is great and would love to see open a show, but sirens is a personal favourite.
