The solo's on Alive and Immortality are amazing - even if Ed messes up Immortality. And don't forget the best guitar jam of all time during Porch. Still my favourite!www.cluthelee.com0

I think the venue and that they were using The Grateful Dead's stage has a lot to do with it. I've never really thought the actual performance was that special. But I wasn't there, so I'm basing my opinion on the bootleg only.Brisk. said:Why is this considered such a legendary show?

I was given a copy of the Soldiers Field boot it was released in 2015 by Smokin Production, it has some radio talking through it, does anyone know the story of why it was re-released? Sound is great. Thanks0

It was a legendary show because soldier field was the one non ticketmaster venue they could play in a major metropolitan area. It was during the on again off again tour of 1995. Pearl Jam was the biggest band in the world at the time and 60,000 plus packed the venue for a much anticipated show. Look up the 95 tour and see the places they were playing.
That being said, I wasn't there, only wish that I had been.
Also it was the one quality boot readily available at the time. And on a side note it was the night after the deads last performance with Jerry Garcia. I know some lucky bastard got to go to both.Post edited by BH304897 on0
