I'm not sure about 2014 or 2015, but the 2013 tickets were custom. The 10c ones had a lightning bolt design to them, but the regular TM tickets looked like regular TM tickets.

Oh yeah, you're right. Adding the member's name would deter some from picking up their tickets just to scalp them at the venue.

i don't like paperless tickets. they are a pain in the u know where. leave this club alone. there is always a way to scalp tickets paperless or not. most tickets in this club i think are not scalped at all. a few rotten apples don't spoil the barrel. the righteous police seem to be everywhere these days.

i'm talking about non 10c tickets. you can have 10c AND paperless. imo
you might call paperless a pain but it sure got you into the show you wanted to see...right?

Springsteen tickets are $135 plus fees. I don't know that I want to pay $300 for a pair of tickets that I can't have the option to transfer them if something comes up.
  • ^^^ok then don't buy paperless :) you have an option as not all sections are paperless FYI
also this isn't a valid complaint against paperless as the benefits still outweigh the possibility that only a few fans cant transfer them! you are in the minority, unfortunately for you

how many fan club seats are really being scalped. i don't think many at all. its not hard for this club to track down these people and throw them out of the club. but will they take the time. i'm sure with the vigilance of the members here you can report this yourselves. that would take care of the majority of scalping. i have helped many people over the years with extra good seats at cost. paperless makes this much harder to do as they have to be with me to get in. some people want to drink etc before,or go for dinner etc. so for your fellow club members this will prove to have some problems. and as i have mentioned before there are ways around paperless tickets.

If you're not gonna go paperless/immediate entry, at least print the 10C member's name on the tickets so scalpers can be weeded out. Of course I would love custom tickets like 1995, but I know that is harder to do.

  • In Denver I ended up with an extra pair as my wife had a work thing and I decided to go with a friend and sit in seats as he was arriving a little late, and I didn't want to stand at the back of the floor as I'm not tall.

So, I decided to sell my ga to other fan club members at face and really make someone's day. There were a couple people (not standing together at all) outside trying to get a single for an extra friend, or so they said. I thought cool I'll be able to make two groups happy. So I sold a single to each person at face, and while I was walking away i noticed these two people get together and start chatting, separate, and then continue asking people coming out for extra ga singles.

It sure looked like they conspired to pose as fan club members to get tickets at face for what I can only guess was to flip them later.

After seeing that, I would rather not be able to use the tickets at all.
