I can't believe it's 10 years since the last one. They did 3 shows within two year and then never went back.iOnlyownMymind said:It'll be 10 years in 2016. It's time to bring it again!

The nearest hotels are about 10 miles away in George, WA. I've stayed in hotels in dumpy Yakima, WA, which is further away. The campground at the actual Gorge venue is basically a dusty, fenced area with port-o-potties. The Wildhorse campground sounds much nicer. There's food there, with a shuttle to the venue.FoxyRedLa said:

I went to one of the shows in 2006, and I don't remember the price being any different. There's beer areas where people stand and guzzle. The food isn't anything special. My nonexistent sources are saying the shows will be in mid to late July, so plan accordingly!0 -
Thank you so much, really appreciate the info!Go Beavers said:

Lots of changes at the Gorge since 2006:
- No more beer gardens; you can take your drink to your seats/pit
- About 5 levels of camping at the venue, with various amenities: http://www.gorgecamping.com/
- Wildhorse Campground: About a mile away from the venue, there's a big group that stays here every year; here's their website: http://www.toupstown.com/gorge.html
- Cave B Inn resort and winery next door. I think it had just opened in 2006. In 2007 we were able to book a room there for DMB Labor Day weekend, but the band has bought out the resort every year since. You can visit the winery, spa, restaurant. Most bands don't buy out the resort; I would think PJ would.
If you're willing to go to a DMB board, here's a lot of good info on doing the Gorge: http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=334123
