What a great observation. Nicely done. I was the Ice Bowl show. It was indeed quite chilly. Boy the Midwest certainly does have their share of bad weather shows. That's too bad.my2hands said:and people wonder why pj does arena tours in mild weather months... they've got it figured out.... plus to perform on stage for 3 hours when it is 100 degrees? or cold like the ice bowl show years ago? Vedders body & throat is the most important and delicate instrument in the band and they seem to gear their touring schedule around that, thankfully. Arenas provide a controlled environment and it sure seems like they prefer to limit risks when touring

One of my favorite memories: Sitting on the hill out by the back lawn listening to soundcheck and watching the storm clouds roll in. My wife's first show too. What an amazing night, especially after the clouds cleared and the show started.100 Pacer said:
Right? How surreal was that? Got into the venue early and took shelter from the rain only to be told they locked the gates and wouldn't be letting people in due to a tornado warning or so I seem to recall? For a little while felt like the show could/would be called off if the weather got worse.buck502000 said:
Be careful - at Indy 2010, a tornado almost picked everyone up and took us away.TL170678 said:I have never saw PJ outdoors, would like to at Indy or something

They are potentially touring the area at the same time as Lolla's 25th anniversary, with no mention of any dates within the Milwaukee, Chicago, Indy area.... how does this not make any sense? Please explain? PJ hasn't been at Lolla since 2007.RatsTJRats said:

I think they will play Lolla. It's Lolla's 25th anniversary too and last week lolla said they were adding a 4th day and were going to to do something special. PJ is the biggest band on the original lineup. I have a hard time believing that they wouldn't be involved in some way.0

Paul Simon "self confirms" he will be at Jazz Fest this year.. Maybe we can get a tour announcement today being the 10th IF they are playing Jazz Fest and they don't want to wait until the official January announcement from the festival. This is speculation that they are even playing Jazz FestNashville '00
