    I understand why/how they handled the "release" of vault 1, giving it away @ PJ20... but I will never understand why they didn't offer Vault 2 on vinyl. They fucked that up. Sales are definitely going to suffer when/if they offer #2 on vinyl

    Hopefully they do this sooner then later though

    The Vegas boot was released around 5/18/15 (with pre-sale-options probably beginning a few weeks prior). I still think it's an urban myth that the PJ-vault-release is a direct answer to the bootlegers. I think they rather took something that was "ready to go" (something the band had sanctioned before and Jeff and/or Ed didn't need to re-listen). It wouldn't surprise me if they do something similar for Vault 6 (7, 8, 9...). Just take the stuff that's there and that's doensn't need a lot of work (2003 shows like Santa Barbara or House of Blues, a 2007 Euro show, 2002 Showbox - if you're really lucky something like Red Rocks 1995 or a 2004 VfC-Show). Hopefully they prove me wrong and choose something out of left field, that doesn't have a aud-recording or a just a bad one - from 1996! I fear the chance for that is very slim.
