No announcement in 2015, take it or leave it

No need to bash or question, just take it or leave it:

A couple of weeks ago I said on here that I was at Wells Fargo and was told PJ Philly dates were 4/28-29 with an announcement coming (around now). That was a sales rep, who also knew about the Bruce dates and announcement before last week.

After this insanity Friday and today, I put some pressure on a co-worker who is close with a higher up in Live Nation. From her - PJ announcement was supposed to be last week, then quickly postponed to today, which was then abruptly postponed until January (or later). She did not give any reasoning, and I'm not sure if she even had any, but this is what I got.

Bummed...I know, me too.

    If true, that would leave you to believe some or many of the dates would change. Why else would you postpone an announcement?

    Why January? If they get everything finalized tomorrow then why not announce it then? Why does no announcement today= postponed til January?? Doesn't make sense!

    I remember for the 08 tour and the 13 tour, I believe the announcement only came 2-3 months in advance. In that case, January would make sense, its probably just an insurance issue so that theres no waver on dates or venues.

    I think they are waiting to hear back from Axl on a possible co headlining tour..hopefully it won't take him as long as Chinese Democracy..

    For the 2010 dates, the Euro dates were announced approx. 13 Dec 09 and the US dates announced approx. 14 March 2010.

    The Euro dates were in June/July 2010 and the US (East coast) dates in May.

    I could see the summer Euro '16 show's be announced in tomorrow's 10club newsletter. If that happens though it's gonna be pretty intense in here that the USA show's haven't been announced yet.

    I don't..and bet there's a lot to it...but for a machine like pearl jam that has been in the game for 20 years plus..it's probably not that difficult.

    I work as a concert producer. Its not a quick and easy process. And everything must be done properly before the dates and info can be released.
