Oh my, oh my, oh my! Looks like Bruce finally decided to go the way of PJ for his live boots. Also, vault series!!!

My only concern is that this says the High Hopes shows are back up and have a better quality and are on CD now. This sucks for those that bought shows when they first became available and would like to own it on CD. This is one screw up by Landau and Bruce.

I'm still on the fence on nugs. I own all the PJ live CDs from 2000-2011. I ordered the first set of 2013s and they were horrible. Gaps between songs on the 3 shows I bought. I said F it and quit buying them.

I'd buy the Bruce shows I went to on disc (I did DL them), but I need some confirmation that they aren't shitty.

I imagine the first run of those PJs were bad and have been corrected otherwise others would be bitching, but it left a bad taste in my mouth

Apparently the CDs are CD-Rs, according to BTX.
But I'm looking forward to those '78 shows in the future!

I think all Nugs CD's are actually CDR, same as when ordering PJ bootlegs. Only time there was actually pressed CD's through Nugs is when you pre-ordered the PJ 2013 box set I believe.

With the recordings now being available, does anyone know if Dallas 2014 and NOLA Jazz fest will be available? I was at both of those, and would love boots of them.

  • Hey Newch91 and Bathgate....
    BRUUUUUUUUUUUCCCEEEE!!
  • Will be in Albany Feb 8, for sure....

last time this happened to my daughter:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSiR2wqzImk
  • I was ten rows up, side stage on what used to be Clarence's side (Mike's for PJ) with my younger daughter... gave Alexis the GA lottery tickets.

BTW, for those unfamiliar, Springsteen does a GA pit at every show and here's how it works: if you have a GA ticket, show up at least 2 hours before the show and get a wristband with a number from the tour manager. Go explore the area, etc... but be back about 90 minutes before gates... About an hour before gates open, he gets on a bullhorn and tells everyone to line up numerically in rows of 100 (they have rails for this). Your number makes no difference because he then draws a random number out of a jar with all the wristband stubs in it. Whichever number is called is the first one in... followed in succession.... so whether you're number one or number 531 your odds of getting the rail are the same. Wish PJ would adopt this method... I'm too old to wait in line for 20 hours! lol...

My daughter got the rail that night with number 454... she was the 135th person allowed in...

    Great system, IMO.

Probably going to try for the 1st MSG show. I am so pumped, there is no show quite like a Bruce show! Will be especially fun because it will be my mom's 1st show. Still warming up to her new boyfriend, but he's a big Springsteen fan who has seen him quite a few times...so that does win him some points. Looking forward to all going together!

First time?? Oh man, it's quite the departure from The River. Glad you enjoyed it! The River is my favorite album of his. And yes, you have to see him on this tour.

I know for Hartford, the tickets are sold through the XL Center's website and not Ticketmaster.

The MSG ones are listed from $73-$155, just as a frame of reference!

TD Garden in Boston is $67.50 and $150. I'm wondering if Hartford will be closer to Boston's prices than MSG.

The Bruce site announced earlier that The River will be played in its entirety at all the shows. Nothing near me so I'm still trying to decide which show to travel to.

Any word on an AmEx presale, or any other presale? I can't find any info online, and am worried about getting shutout on Friday.
