Spent all yesterday afternoon shopping for holiday decorations for the office (with a co-worker I adore, so fun). Spent most of today decorating the office (with some help).... Wow, that shit is exhausting, lol! I'm not into Christmas at all, so I never do this shit. I'm good at it. I just don't do it. The only reason I did it at work this year is because no one else besides the one guy who helped me would step up, the lazy fucks, lol! Also, I'm the one who has the corporate card, which makes me the buyer for the department.... which is totally awesome btw, haha.
    Office looks lovely. :)

In other news...don't forget to put foil arount the pie crust BEFORE putting said pie in the oven. Trying to do that while the pie is still in the oven and really hot is difficult. I may or may not have burned my hand attempting that technique.

you know what else you should do BEFORE you have the oven heated to 450 and the bird sitting in the rack for 15 minutes? Put the rack in the correct way. That was fun.

Gathering of the Vibes is taking a break this summer. After 9 years for me (4 days each) of fun. music and absolute bliss I have to find a new vacation next year.
wow, I just realized that was 36 days of pure debauchery! I NEED those 4 days a year! It keeps me sane!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I just ordered my sister and I ashbeads. hope she doesn't think its' too "morbid" of a Christmas pressie. I think it's a cool way to have some ashes close to you...and they're pretty :-)

I just looked them up-never heard of them before. I think it's a lovely gift...especially around a holiday when you spend time with loved ones. They are beautiful.
My dad loved the beach and I think I wanted Merrys beads b/c they look like water :-) I can't wait to get them!

I went to that place for the first time in Europe two summers ago, it was delicious. And I just heard it was coming to NYC, so I'm stoked. Not that there's a shortage of good Japanese food here, but still, exciting :)
