Temple Of The Dog Newbury Comics Exclusive 2 LP color vinyl pressing

$39.99
Temple Of The Dog
Color: Purple
Limited to: 5 Per Customer
A Newbury Comics exclusive color vinyl pressing.
Temple Of The Dog was essentially a side project of Soundgarden's Chris Cornell & Matt Cameron, Mother Love Bone's Stone Gossard & Jeff Ament and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. Without pressure from a record label, the collaboration resulted in a beautiful album dedicated to the memory of Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood. Our version is a limited, one-time repress of the initial Music On Vinyl pressing and includes lyric insert, and etching on side D.

That does look cool! Trying to figure out the difference between this version and the purple version that was sold a year or two ago (not through Newbury). Looks like the second LP is actually a pink-ish purple colour, which is cool!1996: Toronto 1998: Barrie 2000: Saratoga Springs 2003: Buffalo, Toronto 2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto 2006: Toronto x2, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Gorge #1 2007: London, Dusseldorf, Vic, Lolla 2008: WPB, Tampa, DC, MSG x2, Hartford, Boston x2, Beacon 2009: Toronto, Chicago x2, Seattle x2, LA #3&4, San Diego, Philly x4 2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford 2011: Montreal, Toronto x2, Hamilton 2012: Missoula 2013: London, Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, OKC0

That is pretty cool, but I've already got an OP and the pink (or is purple) from the MOV release. Pink marble is slighly cooler... but meh... got enough copies already...0

This is more of a MAYBE want, not a need. I also have the purple on MOV and it sounds great. It would have been smart to press this on another color, so suckers like me would immediately buy it.
I wonder who pressed this edition?Just went to the link. Looks like MOV again.1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th

Yes, MOV. Was the last press limited? Not that it really matters if you own it already. I missed out last time but just picked this one up.lexicondevil said:This is more of a MAYBE want, not a need. Like the other MOV releases. The first 5000 were on coloured vinyl and numbered, and then the ones after that were on black vinyl. They do that a lot. MOV does a limited run on colour and then release it black once those are sold out.SVRDhand13 said:

UGH! Stupid collector mentality . . . Bought. This purchase is purely for scientific research to test the sound of the different shades of purple found in the first MOV pressing and this new pressing. Derp.demetrios said:

Same here. Fleet Foxes re-press on clear vinyl years back? Uh, nope. Not dealing with them again. My original MOV re-press from last year sounds fantastic!cp3iverson said:Not a fan of Newbury's exclusive pressings. Had some bad experiences sound wise
