The Announcement list should be trimmed

Hey, I don't know who takes care of our discussion board these days but I think some house cleaning needs to be done on the Announcement list.

When we click on "recent discussions" nineteen old announcements are at the top before anything new shows up.

I think some of that stuff can be put to sleep now, don't you? For example, that Columbus fan went missing back in 2006! Do we really need to see that everyday 9 and a half years later?

Just a thought... :)

    Columbus area Pearl Jam fan gone missing... has to stay there. You never know if someone can help in that case. But I will agreed with you that Pearl Jam to Headline Global Citizen Festival can leave the annoucement list.

    Also concur with some of the other announcements being retired, but feel the Columbus one should remain.

    When I click on recent discussions I only see two announcements - PJ Radio and Let Your Voice Be Heard.

    I feel like I edited my settings at one point but I can't figure out how I did anymore!

    SVRDhand13, I did that too so when I'm logged in I don't see as many. When I just visit the site without logging in (to check announcements, etc.), then I see a long list when I click on the "discussion" button.

    I agree. It should stay there until he is found.

    But generally I agree that the announcements need to be cleaned up.
