    ice
    speed
    sugar
    xylotol
    coke
    pepsi
    or any fizzy drinks

There is a solution to all of this. Swimming or having fun in a current can help one sleep like a baby when done. There is the physical workout that helps but I find after swimming in the current for a period there is a release (if done properly) at the end that really knocks me out.

Does this mean I'm old for wanting to go to bed early? ....

If a current or pool, if you will, is not available could you use a hand to produce a similar current swimming motion?

Why yes. It is more the motion of the ocean that does it rather than the ocean (so to say) that does the trick. While simulating swimming in a current is not preferred to swimming in the real thing it will do in a pinch. I have heard some people have gone so far to buy an aide that helps them simulate it in a more realistich manner. I haven't tried it myself but it seems that could be decent in the right environment.

You guys are nuts. The closest body of water to me is the east river, and I ain't going swimming in that.

I was freaking out cuz I popped a blood vessel in my eye. I had no idea what it was. I had gone to the urgent care next to my school a couple hours earlier and they didn't notice it, not that they checked my eyes. So I was stressing cuz I wasn't sure if I should go to the ER or wait till the Urgent Care opens, and even still I'm not sure if my insurance is gonna let me go to the urgent care 2 days in a row so I'm afraid if I do go they're gonna stick me with the bill. But I've decided I give no fucks and I should get it looked at, even if it's just to be told that I'm an idiot and there's nothing to be done about the eye. Because what the fuck do I know? My ability to google shit does not make me qualified as a medical professional.

It was good overall! Holy information overload though!! I have a ton to learn and get used to, but looking forward to it. I really like everyone I work with, that's probably the biggest plus.

I don't know how Christmas is in Ireland, but my assumption is that the mass consumerism here might very well be completely different than what you are used to.

You give us too much credit, we love a bit of consumerism at Christmas! Well we certainly buy into the idea of presents and decorations anyway :) One of the best things we've had in Ireland over the last few years is Christmas FM, a station dedicated to playing only Christmas songs for the whole month of December. It's run by volunteers purely for charity and it raises a ton every year, not to mention putting absolutely everyone who listens to it in a good mood
