Recently some footage of this early 1992 performance was released for the first time by club Vera (a small venue in Groningen which is a city with 200,000 inhabitants in the northern part of The Netherlands). The exacte date was Sunday 1 March 1992:

    My first show!!! :-)

    This footage was released a couple of years ago actually. Club Vera filmed the whole show but don't want to release it because of possible copyright claims. The complete tape is stored over at the Groninger Audiovisual Archive I believe.

    Yep, this 2-songs footage was uploaded by GAVA for the 20th anniversary of the show (was upped on 28 feb 2012). Unfortunately they are not going to give out the full show, like they did for the Nirvana 1989 Vera concert that was upped in full some years ago. For archival purposes, I uploaded on Mediafire the .mp4 file (640x480, best resolution available from the vimeo.com site where it was originally uploaded) with info and md5 files too, for anyone interested, HERE.
    I hope one day they will change their mind and share it in full, even better would be straight from the master vhs (wishful thinking).. we'll see in 2022...

    I wish I was, man! My first show was Bologna 2006.
    I just archive and collect all audio/video sources as possible. Some very very brief clips (few seconds long) from this same source are included in this DVD, too.

    Thanks Jammalambo! I have downloaded that video.
    I lived at 50 meters from Vera in the years 1995-1997, so just too late to make that concert.

    There is a funnny anecdote about Eddie Vedder and that club in 1996.
    Pearl Jam played in the German city of Hamburg on 4 November and would play in Amsterdam two days later. On the day between, Vedder just took the train to Groningen and joined The Fastbacks in their performance at Vera.     Being already a Pearl Jam fan at that time, I was kind of upset that a room mate told me about it the next morning ;-)

    Jammalambo, do you have that other (Nirvana) DVD as well?

    I knew about the rumors for the 1996 show but couldn't make it to Groningen unfortunately. But I am very lucky for having attended the 1992 show... my whole PJ obsession started that day :-)
