I used ParkWhiz and reserved my spots for both locations (SOHO and Central Park West) I intend to park tomorrow. If you do that now, youll save money, and be assured of a spot.0

Damn, yeah I know the stations in Manhattan wouldn't have parking But, in Boston for instance, the outermost stations (in the suburbs of Boston) on the red line, green line, etc have parking lots you can park at to then take that line into the city. I was just wondering if there was something similar in NY.
No worries though, might just try my luck with a garage near the shop2006/05/25 - Boston

Today sounds like a very very very bad day to drive in the city. Check the transit link someone else has already posted and bring lots ot patience. Good luck!Rearviewrelease said:Damn, yeah I know the stations in Manhattan wouldn't have parking But, in Boston for instance, the outermost stations (in the suburbs of Boston) on the red line, green line, etc have parking lots you can park at to then take that line into the city. In case you need, here's the subway trip planner. I don't even know what subways are running vs not, but this should have up-to-date info if you punch in your starting address and where you're trying to go: http://tripplanner.mta.info/MyTrip/ui_web/customplanner/tripplanner.aspxRearviewrelease said:

Within the 5 boros parking lots at subway stops aren't really a thing. My stop has metered parking underneath the station but I dont know how much it is or what the time limit is. You can look for street parking near the station just look at the signs for parking regulations. Not every spot is a spot. You can take the NQR6J to Canal and get off around the corner from the shop on Broadway and Canal. (Follow the signs for the R train and then go out the exit there.)Rearviewrelease said:Damn, yeah I know the stations in Manhattan wouldn't have parking But, in Boston for instance, the outermost stations (in the suburbs of Boston) on the red line, green line, etc have parking lots you can park at to then take that line into the city. Driving down from Boston I'd think you're looking for parking in the Bronx, and unfortunately I don't know that area well enough to offer specific advice. Unless of course you wanna park next to Yankee Stadium.NYC 06/24/08-Auckland 11/27/09-Chch 11/29/09-Newark 05/18/10-Atlanta 09/22/12-Chicago 07/19/13-Brooklyn 10/18/13 & 10/19/13-Hartford 10/25/13-Baltimore 10/27/13-Auckland 1/17/14-GC 1/19/14-Melbourne 1/24/14-Sydney 1/26/14-Amsterdam 6/16/14 & 6/17/14-Milan 6/20/14-Berlin 6/26/14-Leeds 7/8/14-Milton Keynes 7/11/14-St. Louis 10/3/14-NYC 9/26/15
