We made it to the new place. Now we live out in the country. This is a new experience. There's a farm with horses and fields across the street. (!)

Nice! Now you will be able to experience autumn and winter again :)

every night the spirit leaves me
every morning it's found back in
it's quite uncomfortable when it's going
it exits through the sides on angles
both sides at once, scoring around
feels like everything metallic has left

Yes. I am very happy with this new place. It's quiet and peaceful and it has the simple yard I wanted. Lots of grass but not much else except for lots of trees behind that. :)

I just realized the obvious--this week
will be a good pj week for everyone.

Pearl Jam will be on late night tv on the 23rd and the global citizen festival will be broadcast too. Two good events for ALL the fans to look forward to!

removed from a tree too soon
hair through the sun and wind
    hanging on to younger days
the grass below could never hold

    morning guitars
    stars and stomping shoes
    bent knees

    the storms that night bring

    songs like a child
    blowing like a veil
    how can pain stay?
    how can pain stay

    thought it was a rock
    had crawled hard
    came far for me
    found its way my shoe
    there i stood with uneasy
    pebble foot
    pebble under foot

    seems the moon
    the sky
a few smiling stars going for it
    just a small life here

    troubled
    soon a broken string
    another restless snap
    tired wore thin
    a wolf eaten don't howl
seems winter will now be silent

    with standing stone i step
    guided direction
    the path delivered
    hung there ancient grandmother
    old penny pockets fell
    now water & stone
    pebble foot
    pebble under foot

    set it free

    taught us all back then
her life's brutal hand sometimes hummingbird style
    others
peacocks to the notion of kong's king
beauty woke morning's chaotically unrested home
    curtains never ajar
a sun or moon could only but have its glimpse here

    we ran like the devil
    drifting with trips of dreams
    a field or parking lot
    simply cracks through
    weeds or saplings
branches as tiny as they seem would be supporting our having playfulness
so the clapping had this, the cheers of shouting out of tune
    or in

    a nearest mouse
    calming the serpent
before the big flood on broadway

into the rain we drove our carpets
bubbles gently coast along from poisonous stool to resting (on poisonous stools)
dandelions & dandelions & dandelions just as vast as rain on salmon circling those moss firs where ferns & flying squirrels carnival together
only daring that lofty adventure as paintbrushes dance on

scrape center usa syrup farm how may i direct your call

I took the car out of the garage
the needle somewhere in the vicinity of "FULL"
I drove all night in the rain and the fog
    to get away from everything
    that had become my life

the bridge buckled beneath my tires
the headlights pulled me along for 187 miles
the darkness, the quiet, and solitude eased my mind
I had to get myself lost
just so I could find my way back home.
    Peace, Love.
