  • Ireland, probably not as nice as it is in my head but I would love to live there for a bit.

Have you ever lived in another country for an extended period of time?

My goal in life is to die in New Zealand as a kiwi citizen. Plans B and C are the UK and Canada. I know that Canada might make more sense but I really hate snow. There's gonna be a time in the hopefully very distant future where there ain't gonna be nothing left for me here, and I would rather be dead than in a nursing home around here under Medicare. Before you give me shit for that statement, be warned that I have seen some shit and that my opinion is hard won and well informed.

Do you ever let your mail pile up in the mailbox just cuz you hate it and don't wanna look at it?

No. I just turf the mail I don't like. And come to Victoria, Ident42! We have hardly any snow (can't say the same for ND's neck of the woods).

Are you glad to be staying home this weekend because you've been traveling too much?

I googled victoria and my first reaction was "it's so PRETTY" followed immediately by "it's ...So...small..." lol Wikipedia says 350k in the greater victoria area!! Probably be nice though. But with my luck it'd get gentrified as soon as I move in. But it is an island which is apparently some kind of requirement for me, so if I go Canada I'll go for victoria!

Actually, yes. We're in between camping trips. I have a friend having surgery tomorrow, so I'm going to make her dinner for Saturday.

If you were to make dinner for a friend who has had surgery, what would you make? (The surgery isn't digestive.)

Pasta carbonara. It's easy to digest assuming they don't have a lactose problem. But make the sauce yourself - it's super easy.

Do you use any products for flea & tick on your pets?

I have once when I had a dog.

When you cook for guests are digestive/allergy problems never ever a thought?

Do you take steps to accommodate said allergies when you have guests?

Yes, I do. My husband is digestively plagued so it is just something I always have to do anyhow.

What time do you typically go to bed?

    Lunch today?

How often do you have to finish up work at home once you've come home from work (hint: for me, it's most nights)?

Never. I've made it a priority to keep the two separate since the kids came along.

Scale of 1 to 5 (a little to very), how cynical would you say you are?

Nope. I only like milk in its milk state on cereal. Unless you pile Ovaltine in it, I won't drink it. My mom said that I didn't drink it as a baby and at 6 weeks old, she had to put me on Cream of Wheat to get me to eat something.

Do you like milk with Ovaltine or any other flavoring?

Not sure yet but nothing terribly exciting. I've been traveling too much lately so need a quietish weekend at home to get a bunch of things done.

Do you feed any wild critters? (bird feeders, etc.)
