I developed two great loves around the same time -- Tori Amos and Pearl Jam.
They may seem incongruous, but actually I think they're a lot alike in some respects, and perfectly different in others.

    *Tori is a sweetheart. I went to both Tampa Theatre shows in 1994, front row for the second show, and she talked to me a lot between shows and gave me a big hug (especially for a tiny person) before going back to get ready for her second show.

    For her encore, she dedicated "Danny Boy" to me.

    I know, right, Yarden?? Father Lucifer was very pissed at me for not including her. As was Doughnut Song, Cooling and Sweet the Sting.
