    Fort Worth, Texas, May 1970. Funny you should ask how it was. Jimi was having an off night and played a fairly short set, less than an hour. Everybody I've ever talked to who was at that show said that they came away disappointed. Not that this would ever make my list of bad concerts--he just didn't seem to be feeling it. But Hendrix on an off night was definitely superior to many other musicians I've seen.

    Even though we were all disappointed, it didn't seem like a big deal at the time. He toured regularly and we thought we'd have another chance to see him in a year or two. Not to be. :frowning:
