    in 25 years on the FD, I took FIVE sick days....three were for sick dogs, one was for seattle and I think I was truly sick for one....this golf course gig is a bit different. that said, I was way sick.

    Lol. No. As a matter of fact, I refuse to take the kids school fund raisers to work because I don't ever want to feel obligated to buy something from them!

    Caitlin asked me if she could start that page and I said yes only because she raised over $100 selling tickets their pancake breakfast they had Saturday morning. And it was an easy way for my relatives in Indiana and Kentucky to give without having to put a check in the mail.

    Turns out, the vast majority of the money came from you guys. I am not surprised by that, but crystal and caitlin are. Badbrains set the bar high with a $25 donation right off the bat and many of you followed suit. That I did not expect. I was expecting a lot of $10 donations. Caitlin wanted to raise her goal to $400 and I told her no. She has met her goal and I will be taking this down Wednesday. But anyone can still donate in the meantime. Or just share the link on their social media feeds.

    It really is good to know that I belong to a community that not only cares about its members, but can give their money to people they've never met face to face. I know I like to bust most of your balls, but you guys really are awesome people. I can only hope to one day meet most of you at a show or a bar somewhere (because most of you are drunks!)
