    Don't love the album, but Unthought Known is probably in my top 5 PJ songs. Love that song., especially live.

    Let the Fixer out, and its decent album..
    but still remain their worst..big love for Speed of sound and Force of nature..

    Was thinking about this last night... Backspacer is one of few albums that I have bought a second CD of... at the time of release was listening to it heavily in the house and bought a copy for the car to save me having to keep taking the disc with me... I am too oldschool to burn a second copy so doubled up.

    Force Of Nature is one of my favorite PJ songs. It rarely gets played live, and I have no idea why. It's a fucking awesome song.

    Got Some, Unthought, Force of Nature, Amongst the Waves...great songs. Very solid record. If it had Of The Earth and one more song that fit like that I think it would be up there with my favorite PJ records. My only complaint is its a short record (33 min I think) and needs one spacey jam like Of The Earth and one more jam that lets Mike McCready let loose. I think then its an amazing record for me.

    Love the album, I don't think GSMF is the best opener. But i like it. The Fixer is a fun song. Got Some is great. JG is a cool song. JB is beautiful. Amongst the Waves is another good song. Unthought Known is a classic. Supersonic, another fun song. Speed of Sound is another good ballad. Especially the demo. Force of Nature is non-stop awesomeness. And The End, very moving and the first 20 or so times I listened to it. Got me emotional.
