Are seats behind the stage okay on this tour? I'm not looking to spend a lot for a ticket and don't mind just being in the building.

best if you're slightly sidestage so you can see the screen which if you want the full experience you'll need to be able to see it

my view mike side ;) at the forum in la
This is actually a pretty good view.

Went to U2 at the United Center tonight. Great show. Didnt have great seats, sec 327 behind the stage, but only cost me $40. The crowd up there was fairly lame. I stood during the old songs of the first set as some people up by us were standing but no one complained. Once the 2nd set started and they went into mysterios ways my wife stood with me to dance, within a min security told us to sit down, mind you people 5 seats left and right of us were standing. All because some lady didnt understand this wasnt the opera. Luckily my wife handled the situation better then i would have. She spoke with a security mgr and asked where we could be moved to so we could dance. A few mi later we were handed complimentary $275 tics in sec 122 row 8, mid court 1st level so i got to hear and see the last 7 songs from those seats. Amazing time down there. Everyone's entitled to their own thing but i dont and never will understand sitting at a rock concert. If you want to sit, stay home and watch a dvd on your couch. Mad props to my awesome wife and united ctr security.

Nice, very nice. I wish they would bring their show to South Florida.

I have a pair of GA for July 7th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto - any chance anyone has a pair for the 6th? My dad's birthday is on the 7th and I'd like to celebrate with my family.

benjs, arent the GA tix non-transferrable? Here in CHI, you had to scan your credit card and it would print out little ticket stubs to collect your wristband.

For the June 28th show a fan wearing a Pearl Jam (Lightning Bolt) shirt joined the band on stage and sang Desire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w65eMv0hq4

    That was very cool!
And I think we caught Bono looping back his own vocals. Check around the 3:45 when our PJ friend pulled the mike away...

I really liked the two stages and having all of the floor as GA. At some point you are going to be close to the band at the floor. I arrived 45 mins before the scheduled start time and was 5 people away from the small stage. Setlist was just Ok and they don't change it up much.

You're correct :) I ended up going with my dad. He used to be a photographer, and where I thought he would be upset about a standing show for a band he wasn't all too familiar with, he embraced every minute of it - even going away from me into the thick of the crowd to snap pictures. He had a blast, and we both came out of it majorly impressed by the band and the production!

Listening to the album with the two discs. Disc two is amazing with all the acoustic versions and outakes. Every Breaking Wave is slowly becoming one of my all time favorite U2 songs up there with Bad etc. Why won't they come to FLORIDA!
