Soundgarden - Hyde Park DVD

Did anybody buy the deluxe Soundgarden - King Animal box and get the DVD, specifically in the Chicago area? I'm working on a little project, so PM me if you have it.

I don't have a copy but when was this box-set released? Was it available from the same time the album was or has it been released later?

I was at this show and would love to see this just a bit put off by the price.

It was sold at the same time but I believe did not ship until Jan 2013.

I dont understand the logic behind producing a DVD but requiring fans to buy a $100 box set to see it. RATM did the same thing. Doesnt it make sense to produce them as a stand-alone DVD release and sell them for $15 a pop as well?

ask Jack White. How many times has he released a dvd that only comes with their vault packages? I hate it too, but I guess it makes people shell out for the box. Or that's their theory.

I'm not people though.

I ended up buying it. I was disappointed in it. I think it's a compilation of all fan-shot footage of the show, mixed with soundboard audio. if not, it's horribly produced. given2fly, if you want it, pm me your address. it's yours.

If I can get the DVD I will rip the audio, but havent been able to find it yet.
