How do you simply purchase tickets? Not VIP tix but just GA tix.

I don't think GA tickets are for sale (at least right now).

Yeah you're right. I just checked ticketmaster. Any idea how much they'll be?

I don't know what price GA would be if they even sell them at a later date. TM shows the price range as $150-$175 for the VIP though.

I would love if people had the attitude about this event as Global Citizen would like to project. Positive attitudes for change. Share. Care. Love your neighbor.

If this is an event that does not align with your political beliefs, it is an option to attend or not. I don't say this in a snarky, nasty kind of way. It does throw me when conservative people (sometimes extremely) complain about the activism of a very, very liberal band. I mean, they don't hide their views and beliefs.

If this is an event where you think that PJ is going to give a three hour show, it is not. They are doing something for the good of an organization. It isn't about them. It isn't An Evening with Pearl Jam. It is a night for Global Citizen. It is a night to gather to bring to light social tragedies and things that we can do to pull together to help others.

If your heart is into backing this charity, then I hope that you will consider reading the information that they have put out. I hope that you are able to score tickets and have a most kick ass time. There are those of us happily living vicariously through you. Truly happy for everyone getting tickets. Not a show that is an option for me, but I have a number of friends who are trying for it. I'm pulling for them all the way.

If your heart does not lead you to supporting this charity, I would ask that you consider not attacking the band and forum members over what is the basis of their only North American show of 2015. People just want to get together and have a good time.

PJ fans will find anything to complain about

If you don't wanna do quizzes and such and get involved in "activism", buy a vip ticket or stay home

some people find the dumbest shit to complain about

i dont think tweeting or signing petitions i didnt even read is "activism" at all, but seriously, a free concert in central park is nothing to complain about

    100% agree.

It took me like 5 minutes to do all 8 actions, I didn't even have to actually make the call. I think I'll still try for VIP tickets, but those are going to be very limited.

Even if you're not into activism it's hard to argue what Global Citizen is about. Just saying.

you have to "earn free tickets" by "saving the world doing hippie liberal activism" yah!
Must be nice to be multi-millionaires and AFFORD to be liberal and think everyone should be onboard with your dream life...

I am poor as fuck, and absolutely support Global Citizen and raising awareness of what are actually THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES IN THE WORLD TODAY that most affect the poorest people on the planet. That is really too bad that you are so apathetic and bitter that all you can do is shit on a good cause.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

If you are on the internet, you are far from "poor as fuck"

Us folks in the free world don't have a clue what real poverty is

    Nailed it

Poverty is deciding between heat or electricity, poverty is truly needing food stamps or be in section 8 housing or a motor home. If you have internet you aren't in poverty, you are just low middle class
