    St. Paul's Chapel in NYC, right across the street from the WTC (memorial).
    I am not a religious person (I'm an Atheist, actually), but this tiny little church, with the centuries-old cemetery, was just really, really, really cool. NYC is my favorite place, and this is my favorite place in NYC. :) The fact that it somehow survived 9/11 completely unscathed, like some kind of magical force field was around it, adds to the mystery and myth of this weird little place of peace in the middle of the chaos of the city.

    Close second: Banff, Alberta. I lived there for a little while, and it's still a part of me.
    Close third: Tofino, BC. Possibly the most beautiful place on the face of the planet.
