I don't see how or why TM thing is being compared to Apple. Apple was literally trying to steal material rights. TM PROVIDES A SERVICE in exchange for FEES. It's Apples and Coconuts (pun intended). The reason other big artists didn't join PJ on the TM thing is that - TM PROVIDES A SERVICE in exchange for FEES. Does PJ want me telling them how much they can charge for their services?

Whereas Apple decided to launch a free service and avoid the investment it takes to do so on the back of artists that they need to pay to use their product that drives the very service they were launching. The artists had no choice in the matter in the way it was implemented.

we all agree TM charges are way too high. But, the choice is in our hands (The consumers) at all times. With what Apple was doing, the consumer was taking advantage of the artists as well. We may not like the choice of not going to see our favorite artist, but we had that choice. Who's passing up FREE?

It is 2 completely different things.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Do you really think that 1995 Ed would have been interacting with fans and media on the twitter machine?

I am pretty sure he doesn't use it now, so what makes you think he would use social media back then? I don't really follow these things but it feels like only mike personally uses social media?
