Not sure if this has been mentioned before but apparently he wrote a song which features at the end of the credits
It would have to be a uke song for sure, can't wait to hear it!

Yes I actually just had that thought and googled it seeing as how it's Cameron Crowe and Hawaii all wrapped in one, he had to do it!

This is truly good news. :)

How fun for him, to have a child who is interested in music too, and wonderful for his daughter to be born into a family with great opportunities. I look forward to hearing the song!

Pretty sure I'll never see the film (based on the trailers) but what a sweet bonding experience this must've been.

The father-daughter relationship is so very precious, not to mention incredibly influential.

I heard this movie was terrible and a complete flop. Hopefully the song is better.

Other than THIS song (I haven't heard it, but I can imagine that it's probably really good), it looks like that whole release got #sortatorpedoed from the start. Everyone connected to that film wanted it to, and needed it to be a huge hit. Bummer.

I haven't seen it yet. Might give it a chance on cheap Tuesday night @ Cineplex. Or just wait till it's shown on The Movie Network.

Kinda sucks the song isn't even on the CD Soundtrack. http://www.amazon.com/Songs-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/dp/B00W8G7J4O .

That would be cool. Guessing Vinyl Films Records will release this on 7" vinyl. Side A : Ben Harper. Side B : Eddie & Harper Vedder.

I hope this song will be pressed someway, CD or vinyl..
I remember I bought the Every Mother Counts CD exclusively for Skipping, but eventually I liked the whole disc..
