Benaroya Hall vinyl

Hello All:

For years I have sat quietly as one of the original owners of this set. I have considered it and a few other items to be the cornerstone of my collection. But, I have recently run into some serious financial issues and I am starting to consider something that was unthinkable a year ago. I have never opened this set and when I get home tonight I will snap a photo showing it's hand written number. What could I sell this for? I am still wrestling with weather or not I can indeed bring myself to do this and I also would love some feedback on what a fair asking price is. IF I do sell this, I want to do it here so at least I know it is going to a fan who understands what this means. Please share your thoughts.

    Because someone outside of the forum spending 1k on a vinyl wouldn't know what the vinyl represents (as I slap myself in the face)

    Aside from that, i think if you wanna sell it quick and at a fair market price for both parties, $1000 is the number you wanna be at.

    If you've never opened it, what is there to wrestle with yourself? It's just a box in a wrapper on a shelf serving you no purpose but to say "I have it." Sell it to someone who will enjoy it. You get out of your financial bind, someone else gets to enjoy Benny on vinyl, everybody wins. If you're selling it here to a fan club member, a "fair" price would be 900-1200. If you want/need more than that, ebay is your best bet.

    Agreed but don't forget that if you go the eBay route you pay about 13% in fees, which would be over $150 on $1200. Selling on here gets you pretty much the same cash in hand even if you drop the price a little.
