Absolutely. I hate to say it, but I'm thinking that the women of our time (makes us sound so old, but go with me here) LIVED life. They lived a life that was something outside of a screen. They went. They experienced. I'm not saying that the ladies in today's music haven't, but I'm just thinking that times were a bit more lived then than they are now.

Yes on the image/looks front, no when it comes to relying on (or actually having?) true talent and saying fuck-you to stupid outfits, glittery nonsense and autotune.

Not at all. Better out than in. I have a coworker who refused to wear deodorant (and smelled like a water buffalo left in the sun) because people come in with perfume on too strong. The thing is, she was making all of us suffer!

Yes. Thought I might have trouble when I turned 40, but I didn't even blink. Check me again in a few years when I turn 50....I may need someone to hold my hand or give me meds. Or both.
Not generally. My Merrell barefoot shoes can get a little moist from time to time rendering them a little footish, but not overwhelmingly obnoxious. I have three different pair and they all get that way. I even wear the little mini sock things with them. They just need breather holes and it would be better.

I almost passed out in the chair from anticipatory nerves but my dentist was gentle as could be and it was over lickety-split.
