How tragic. The Biden family has had to deal with a lot of heavy grieving. Biden's daughter AMy died in a car crash in 1972 now this. Damn cancer. Very sad. :(

    If I'm not mistaken it was his wife & daughter that perished in the car crash

    Yeah he was so young.I hate hearing bad things happening to good people.
    He was a bright guy.Who knows where his path may have taken him.

    i think joe biden has endured more tragedy than any one person deserves. this is really sad.

    First thing I thought of was the man's had to bury a wife and two children in his lifetime. It's so sad. But even though I don't know him personally from what I've seen of him on TV he seems quite jovial, particularly for a politician. I guess he really must have an appropriate appreciation of the value of what he has given what he's lost.

    Yeah, sometimes VP Biden gets slighted for his humor but to go through all he has had to endure in terms of personal tragedy and still have a sense of humor and carry on seems like very admirable trait.

    any person who leaves office to fight in Iraq and then comes home and goes to war against child predators is a hero in my book.

    May Beau Biden rest in peace. They gave him a beautiful send off today. Very sad to lose someone so young. Condolences to all of the Biden family.
