    Hawks even it up. I only lasted until sometime in the 2nd OT...woke up on the couch around 2am and saw that they won in the 3rd OT. Crazy.

    It is tough. I recorded the 'Ning came and was catching up as I was coming in and out of the house. Only thing that stands to reason is that an afternoon game on NBC is worth more in advertising than a night game on NBCSN. It does suck though.

    The Leafs threw cartoon money at him (while the Sabres were already about to make him the highest paid HC by far... along with a much brighter/immediate future).

    I wont be surprised also if they handed him significant GM duties (which Im really glad the Sabres did not agree to).

    They are saying about 8 year/ total of $50 Million.

    Anyway, I don't harbor any ill will towards Babcock leaving the Wings. A monkey would have made that decision. If rumors are correct, the Wings were offering him 4 yrs / $3.25M. The Leave's offer is literally double that in years and annual salary.

    Considering Quenneville is currently the highest paid coach at $2.75 million, that is an insane offer based on the current market rate.
