Alabama shakes in a couple weeks. Smashing pumpkins acoustic in June. The Who if/when they reschedule. Have tickets for my morning jacket later this year too. And loufest week after Labor Day. If I'm home I may go see DMB when they play in town.
I think that'll do me for the year unless pearl jam or faith no more comes close to st.louis.0 -
Holy moly, that reads like a band's tour schedule! I gotta ask 2 questions: 1) Do you actually buy tix to all those shows or there's another reason/way you see them? 2) Do you have a full time job you have to go to during the days of all those shows? I'm just being nosy, that schedule looks like a full time job in and of itself! A fun one of course, but wow...qontheboard said:Tonight - The English Beat

Hey JH. Yes I actually buy 98% of the tix I get for concerts. The other 2% are the occasional free show or tix won in a contest. I'm lucky enough to run my own business from home, so I get to live the rock and roll lifestyle. However my wife has a very demanding job, but is able to get the time off during the summer so we can do these rock and roll vacations. This year is actually going to be our slowest year for quite some time. Last summer I think we did 24 consecutive days and nights of concerts (the list is somewhere in this thread), and it was epic. We will probably never be able to do that again, but it was an experience I would love to replicate. And yes, it's like being on tour, and it's an absolute blast. No we are not rich or even wealthy (we might be if we didn't buy so many fucking concert tickets), this will be the third year in a row that we have to put off buying new living room furniture for another year. Priorities!JH6056 said:
