Like it says in the book of revelations ,we shall have the mark of the beast, microchip/barcode? We're all numbers anyway, but these chips have been tested on people already, and have the ability to change our moods and make us subservient . It's easy to get drawn in to conspiracy theories, but there's no denying a group select of people control the world and through hidden hand techniques pull the screens. Technology they hold I believe is way ahead of what we see, there greatest fear us if we start thinking for ourselves. IMO were moving towards a police state and one world currency, microchips are just a part of this, when people wake up it'll be too late.

I do feel that embedded microchips could be a reality in the future, but I seriously hope that we find ways to open-source and fully disclose details
Open-sourced disclosed details? - think about that one.
Embedded microchips will be neither of those.

I'm with you on this one. It's all a matter of how deeply you believe corruption runs in society/government/corporations. For me - I wouldn't take my chances.

I said before I don't see this ever coming close to happening. And when people start quoting the bible as a reason this could happen, I just tune out.

I just see this potentially happening because thought manipulation is such a prevalent theme in society these days. As well, powerful entities such as corporations and governments abuse their powerful positions regularly, and these would be the parties who made this concept a reality.

I don't think the government needs to implant chips to control people's minds. They do it everyday already in the media and tv. I just don't see anyone volunteering to be chipped.

They won't ask for volunteers by saying "Please put a chip in your arm so we can track your movements". They'll find an economic, security or health reason to make you ask to have it.

Thank you for helping here. This would not be an opt-in initiative if it ever were to happen.

No, you are fine. I think I am trained on this board to automatically assume someone is just going to angrily disagree with me. :)
