    My wife has a theory we don't pick pets they pick us. We know because it just feels right through them. I hope it happens fast for you and when it does take the leap. It really does help with the pain of losing a loved member of your family.

    I think every good dog wants this in their passing. I always feel a Momo tug on my
    Heart strings when I see a dog I could help/save/love. It just makes his memory that much more live.. You'll feel Jada pill your heart strings.. You'll see her staring at you with those gorgeous pleading eyes, in your heart's eye.. And you'll know she's picked a dog to fufill the next chapter of your life with dogs.. Until that time, we are all here to listen and share in fond memories of her with you.

    In some ways I wish we'd waited to get another dog after Brian died. Like we'd call Lisa "Brian" by mistake. I'm not sure we grieved enough. But Brian was our only dog, so that might make it different.

    And - I agree about a dog picking you. We weren't quite ready to adopt and were willing to foster and then suddenly - boom - Lisa appeared. So I completely 100% think it was meant to be. And I think it was exactly what Brian would have wanted.

    We might be getting a new puppy! We found one that both my hubby and I want, I think so we're going to discuss it further tonight...adoption of course, she's so cute, she's a corgi/spitz mix. Her name is Meeka Mae....and I am in love...lol

    Cuteness overload. You just want to squeeze Sophie. And kiss her. (Lisa ate a hunk of her crate bed yesterday and pooped orange foam today. Just to put the puppy thing in perspective.)

    puppies are at their best when the "off" switch is on. RIP sweet Gracie....she would have turned 7 last week.

    So heartbroken. My hubby called about the puppy today about filling out the application for adoption and they said they aren't accepting applications for her...I don't know if that means they already found her a home or what...he said they were very brief...but I am very disappointed, I wanted to get her so bad!
