WORST concerts (top five) you've seen

Tool, 2006. They played ONE fucking song that wasn't on 10,000 Days and only played for about an hour & 15 minutes. I should've just thrown $70 out my car window while listening to the CD.

I walked out on a bar band once in 1989.

1. Incubus (Cardiff, sometime around 2003 I think? Hundred Reasons were the support) - there was nothing at all redeeming about this show. Just utter shite.

2. Beady Eye (Big Day Out 2014) - Liam Gallagher is a truly awful frontman and an even worse singer.

3. Tool - I can't even remember when this was (whenever they were last in the UK?). Bored the arse off me.

4. Damien Rice (Sydney 2007) - I only really went to see Fionn Regan supporting but I stayed to watch Damien Rice as my friends wanted to see him. It felt like he only played 1 song - 20 times.

5. Extreme (Donington 1993) - had to sit through a lifetime of their crap just to get to Aerosmith headlining. Sepultura, Biohazard and Pantera had played earlier so everyone was pretty fired up, then... 2 tools on 2 stools singing 'More Than Words'...

Mars Volta (opening for Soundgarden in 2011) ... when I got home I threw the two Mars Volta CD's I owned in the trash. They were that bad. I wanted to throw my show at the guy running the sound booth.

- Soundgarden, 2013. The sounds was horrible, and so was the performance (QE)
- Marilyn Manson, 2015. The performers did nothing wrong. Just a bad sound issue (QE)
- The Killers, 2005??. Again, nothing wrong with the performance. Bad sound issue (The Vogue)
- Sorry to say, but RNDM, 2012. Richard and Joseph were great and the music was good, but Jeff had a bee in his bonnet or something. He was being a crabby pants all night on stage and just didn't seem to want to be there, so he kind of brought the whole show down with him. Also, the venue was pretty shitty just because the stage is too small with a really low ceiling.
- Duran Duran, 2008ish?. Lol. They weren't great, but the real problem was the crowd. It was the lamest crowd I've ever seen. What a bunch of losers, hahaha.

I posted in this thread already years ago, but have a few new ones.

Puddle of mudd- Wes was sick and his voice was really hoarse. I do like a lot of their songs though.

Dokken was meh.

Seen third eye blind twice. They were good. I saw them for their first two albums, but haven't seen them recently.

By far the worst out of the 100+ concerts I've seen was Dylan. I've seen him twice and it's just sad. Which kills me to say, but it's true. Also, the worst crowd was at last year's Ryan Adams show in Philly. Everyone was seated at a rock concert and didn't make a sound.... Weirdest thing I've ever seen. The crowd in NYC a month later was light years better.

Yeah, but it's Dylan. He has no range left but it's still Dylan. The fact that possibly the greatest legend in music is still recording and playing is pretty remarkable.

That's when I left. That was mostly because I had to walk across a river of shit (literally) to get to/from the venue from Victor's Pub. Rain that day was crazy. I think I'm still dirty from the streets of camden being flooded

Third Eye Blind... they played on the deck in front of the R&RHOF one year during the Cleveland Grand Prix weekend. It was a free show and I still wanted my money back! While they sound great in studio, Stephen Jenkins live is the epitome of tone def!!

I like them....don't flame me...but I've never seen them live.

Oh I like them as well. He might have just had a really, really off day that day. Anyone else I know who's seen them has said they were awesome; I just personally experienced the polar opposite.

I didn't wanna say anything earlier but add me to the list. I've been a 3eb fan for a long time, but only saw them live for the first time last year. They did "tags" (like what PJ do) of genuine & covered the Jackson five. I had gone in with really low expectations cuz I'd seen some YouTube videos of them live years ago & they sounded awful. They played a pretty short show (by their standards, according to my friend who's seen them multiple times) but I had a fantastic time. It was a lot of fun.
