A visit

The need to talk
builds up
like the need to walk
(or bounce down a street)
move it, prove it
rhyme!
the light inside wants to burn
despite some long dark night
there's Time!
to speak of Joy

my ears were joyful once more
I could float off on
a raft of that sound
(live there inside)
I could lift a ton
off that one rung bell
echo left unbereft
found instead in this head
no longer dead
but Joy born again
