I have an interview on Friday with a company under an umbrella company I've interviewed with two times before (and didn't get the job)...so I guess they like me enough to keep me in mind, at least! As my bf said, "can't they just like you a liiittle bit more?" Here's hoping!

Hoping even more to get a job I interviewed a couple weeks ago. It sounds awesome, is in a great location, and pays 5K more than the job I'm interviewing for on Friday!

But I've learned to expect nothing as far as job interviews go, so we'll see.

The crash of flight 9525 from Barcelona. I'm scared of flying as it is, when these things happens I feel sick to my stomach. What a sad day, after such an eventful weekend (El Clasico).

My thoughts and prayers are with all those who were on board and their families.

I hate flying as well...they say "flying is safe" but I keep hearing about all those horrible crashes...
Considering the amount of planes up in the air at any given time flying IS safe... Certainly safer than driving on the road where any dumb arise cause an accident. I think was horrifies us is that when a plane crashes many many people die and the lack of control we would feel in such a situation.

    This is very concerning :(

So much speculation now. If the pilot fell ill why then could the co-pilot not use his code to open the door, unless the pilot was preventing him from doing so?

It would be wrong to jump to conclusions and the pilot should of course remain completely innocent until proven guilty, but people need answers...

Yep. And yes, that IS why you keep hearing about all those horrible crashes- because they are rare, when they happen they are newsworthy.

I've become more uneasy about flying the older I become, funny enough, but I just have to remind myself that hundreds of thousands of planes fly a day, and I'm very much most likely going to be OK.

It sounds like it was a controlled descent, so in these early days of the investigation, it really does seem like the co-pilot did it deliberately.

The American healthcare system needs to go choke on a giant syphilitic dick.

I genuinely have completely made up my mind about choosing a career path that gets me the FUCK out of this country by the time I hit 50 based entirely on the bullshit I'm dealing with right now.

    I fucking can't. Truly. Fucking. Can't.
