Good to see that there is a second round underway. I would be in for Milan and Trieste.
And in a third round for Leeds, St. Louis, Moline and Milwaukee.

I'll try to get all of the packages assembled this week.
It may be the end of next week before I can get to the post office

I just sent out a PM to the #1 Boxset group that contains the first set of CD mailer photographs!!
PLEASE check your address label and make sure that I have your contact information correct!
I've also included YOUR shipping cost along with the number of boots and the shows you ordered!!

I'm dividing these shipping photos up into 3 groups:
1) Members who ordered more than 1 bootleg set - 6 members
2) Members outside the US that ordered 1 bootleg set - 7 members
3) Members inside the US that ordered 1 bootleg set - 5 members

This first PM was for those who ordered more that 1 bootleg set!!

Yep. Pressed discs are made very similar to the way vinyl records are made. Data is laser etched onto a master which stamps out the CD blanks, then the pressed discs are covered in a protective layer, thus embedding the data. Burned discs have a layer of dye, and the data is transferred to this layer by burning microscopic "holes" into it. Plus, the artwork on burned discs is printed by inkjet, whereas pressed discs can be offset or silkscreened.
In layman's terms, it's basically the difference between a factory made CD and burning a CD-R on your computer.

I feel like we're in a really good place now...
it's been fun putting this little project together

I've heard from ALMOST everyone who ordered a bootleg in the #1 boxset.
Thanks to EVERYONE for helping me make sure that the CD mailers are correct and ready to be shipped out to you...all we are really waiting on at this point is for the bootlegs themselves to arrive!!
As soon as I get a shipping notification from 10 Club / NUGS,
I will let everyone know that the boots are on the way!!
