FIVE GUYS vs. IN 'N OUT ....which is better?

I really don't get the hype over Five Guys. Just a typical burger chain, nothing special. Never had In 'N Out. If we're gonna go with chains, Fuddrucker's gets my vote for the variety of meats you can choose. Still waiting for them to bring back the ostrich burger!Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

I think it is difficult to compare Five Guys and In 'n Out....like apples and oranges. IMHO, Five Guys is on a higher rung than In 'n Out. Both are delicious, but Five Guys seems like more of a substantial burger.0

Fuddrucker's is awesome....great burgers and the buns there are the best. That was my favorite place as a kid....loved that cheese dispenser they haveHesCalledDyer said:I really don't get the hype over Five Guys. Just a typical burger chain, nothing special. I had Five Guys recently and was sorely disappointed. Maybe a notch above your typical sloppy fast food burger. I was expecting at least reasonably close to a classic greasy spoon burger.0

I'm highly offended that Fuddruckers has franchises in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Cali, and Utah, and ZERO in Washington.Indifference71 said:

They must be afraid of all the awesome local burger chains we have...Kidd Valley, Dick's, BurgerMaster, Red Mill, etc. HurmpffffhhhThe joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
