and musky, i am glad you shared that post above. i just want to tell you that i personally know cops do in fact express their opinions on the job, while in uniform. they do in st louis county anyway.
i have had groups of cops sit in my training room at the school i used to work for and go on and on about a host of racist shit and policies that they disagree with. they even refer to groups of black teenage males as "t-dog, boo boo, and pookie". i have witnessed it at least 2 dozen times over 7 years."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."0 -
Well those are so pretty stupid Coppers then cause that could get your ass fired if recorded or proven saying racially motivated shit in uniform. We are taking St. Lousey here so we have to take that into consideration....sorry, had too. Still a bit pissed about Patrick Kane going down 4 the season And your Blues appear to be getting stronger.gimmesometruth27 said:and musky, i am glad you shared that post above. i just want to tell you that i personally know cops do in fact express their opinions on the job, while in uniform. they do in st louis county anyway.

Also, t-dog, boo boo, pookie are real gangsta ghetto names and not racist at all in my parts....Seen all those names on state issued DL's and ID's. Actual one of my most favorite things working the ghetto was learning about all the colorful names Mama could come up with.0 -
Hahahaha, these stories just keep getting better.0

The names Billy-Bob, Dewayne, Bodean, Cletus, and Bobby-Jo all exist on state issued licences. Is it fair for black people to call you Billy-Ray in deliberate disrespect? Nope, that's called racism.
How about Milton, Chester, Englebert, or Hubert. Again, when an ethnically common name is applied to a stranger in deliberate disrespect it is racist.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Perhaps I don't understand racism, but I do have a PHD in race baiting and entitlements. Maybe my offense tolerance is different that most, but I used to be called honkie or quacker numerous times a day and it didn't bother me one-bit. But PC rules are also different in my town as well.rgambs said:

I respect a thick skin, I have one too. That being said, it doesn't make a racist statement less racist if the target doesn't take offense. It was still racist of people to call you that just because you are white, even if it didn't bother you.muskydan said:

I don't know who gets more, but there are LOT's on both sides that get 'em in Crook County.rgambs said:

i remember sitting there thinking "are these guys really talking about this stuff in a high school gymnasium an hour before a high school basketball game?? there are television cameras just outside my office..." this was back between 2000 and 2007, so it was before camera phones and stuff. i would imagine these guys would not be as careless these days. it was st lousey county cops, not city ones. the county guys are traditionally the smarter ones haha....muskydan said:

i hate that kane got hurt. even if he is a blackhawk... if you are a fan of the game you have to be a fan of kane. mark my words, the blues will find a way to stomp on their own balls come playoff time. we always do....
i remember thinking "that's not boo boo?? you called that guy boo boo last week..." then i picked up on the pattern of them calling your random group of average black teenagers pookie, t-dog, and boo boo."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

similar to tom dick and harry. achmed, mohammad and abdul. etc......context and overall tone are very important things that people seem to dismiss quite readily. food for thought.gimmesometruth27 said:

Big Protest in Front of Homan Square today at 1500. Protesters plan on "Shutting it Down" They better dress warm and more importantly wear bullet proof vests since Homan Square is smack dab in the middle of one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Chicago. Gonna be a lot of Robberies today.0

In true Guardian fashion they twist the story around to favor their ignorant ass agenda. If you are willing to believe the truth Deputy Chief Roti retired, not resigned. He will now take a $140,000 a year job w/ recently retired Deputy Chief Leo (Rick Flair) Schimit who is now in charge of the Illinois State Police. So now Roti make over $140,000 a year w/ ISP and take in at least $120,000 a year w/ his Chicago Police Pension. This prince of a boss last words to the troops.."It's the best thing that has happened to me" . Some people have all the luck …… WHA-HUUUUUbadbrains said:0
