Australia SYD, MEL, BNE Music Venues

Planning a trip from the US - > OZ - was curious if any of the Aussies around here had good recommendations for live music venues in any of these cities. So far I've been checking our the Annandale in Sydney which looks good....but am really open to anything. If you're here you obviously have great taste in music so would appreciate any tips you may have!

    Sydney -Oxford Art Factory and The Basement , depends what's on and what you're into though I spose but they're are both cool venues

    Unfortunately a lot of live music venues keep closing their doors here in Melbourne...but some good ones I use to check out were the Espy (Hotel Esplanade) in St Kilda (near where Ed has played solo shows) and the Northcote Social Club. There's others around but those two a pretty good.

    Hey I live in Melbourne,check out THE CORNER HOTEL which is in Ricmond Melbourne,have a lot of local and international bands,Google BONJAH a brilliant local band and if they are playing dates go see them on your Aust trip,you will not be disappointed

    Happy to help,checkout UNTILL DAWN and GO GO CHAOS , BONJAH'S first two album,both equally fantastic,real music from the soul,music that makes you forget about the ugliness in our currant would.Enjoy Aus
