    anyone see the play by that venezulean short stop yesterday? looked liked omar vizquel going to the other side of 2nd base to snag a grounder and then twisting and turning to gun out a kid at first. one of the finest plays you'll see a little leaguer make....of course he's from latin america

    I think it's about time the fences are moved back about 30 feet for the little league world series. Those kids are hitting bombs.

    Bat rules are changing in a few years (2017 I think). It's these composit bats. These kids can hit, but you get these kids that are great and hand them these bats the ball flies.

    The fence could go back a bit, but get rid of these bats and it'll help. There really isn't too much room to push the walls in Williamsport.

    agree the fences should be moved back. kids that age shouldn't be hitting opposite field home runs as much as they do. that being said those Pennsylvania kids had some really good swings. they were taught well. i know two of the kids fathers were major league draft picks so some is pedigree. shame pa. lost.

    That's awesome. Funny that this team is from one of the smallest towns in the area. I'd assume they obviously have some "relocated" kids but the town is not a sports hot bed
