Seven was a good movie though....
2016: Lexington and Wrigley 1
1. Hackers, Mallrats, Empire Records & Tank Girl - seriously how could leave these ones off, they were the voice of a declining generation.
2. Jumanji - nothing more needs to be said
3. Clueless - not the best movie but it definitely defined an era
4. Billy Madison - the beginning of the Adam Sandler movement, which peaked with Happy Gilmore, but still this was the one that started it all.
You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
10-30-1991 Toronto, Toronto 1 & 2 2016, Toronto 2022
Pulp fiction, Forrest Gump, shawshank, dumb and dumber, lion king
"Mallrats" is funny as shit and I love it for what it is, but it's hardly era-defining.
I just saw "Jumanji" for the first time last Friday. What the hell took me so long?
This is a joke right?

No. Adam Sandler was funny for exactly the 53 weeks in between those two releases.
Imagine if Casino came first. It would've had more critical acclaim.

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
Chief Joseph - Nez Perce
12 Monkeys was 1995 as well. So good.
Also Leaving Las Vegas and The Bridges of Madison Country - both fantastic films.
Oh, and don't forget about Waterworld.
