well,seems we as fans we show the world!!..sorry for say this and make humor of this but is what i thought first when i saw at venezuaela police giver numbers to people in the line who waits to get into super market to buy food...
its crazy..

    Did the grocery shoppers in line go back to their hotels to nap, or did they choose to go to the bar and party? As long as they get back in time to get their $20 loaf of bread, should be okay!

    Do these police officers know that there is not only today's list but also lists for the next three weeks, each with the same twenty names already there and ready to go? I really hope they respect the integrity of the list system.

    I know I take for granted the ability to run to the market - in and out in less than ten minutes - or even have groceries delivered to my home, without second thought.

    Damn,that's harsh.Maybe time for Venezuela to think about opening up that economy and thinking about a little more democracy.This socialism thing is just not working out.My heart goes out to the everyday folks there trying to make it day to day.

    Pure socialism only works without greed. So yeah... unless humans evolve a lot further, it's impossible.... Certain socialistic ideologies blended into the system can be very beneficial though. It just has to be done right, and the corruption has to be kept to a relative minimum.

    Oh, yeah. I didn't mean to suggest it would ever happen, lol. I like to imagine that society will go the way of Star Trek: The Next Generation, when most people are enlightened, but I don't actually believe it will actually go that way! Those seeking power will stop that easily.
