they got big hype this year by winning the Mercury. They are described as the New Radiohead. Oddly, the song on there that most sounds like something Thom and company would cook up, the Intro song, seems to be the song no one says "that sounds like Radiohead ala Amnesiac", at least judging from YouTube comments.

Just stumbled on to them.....I misjudged their sound based on the band name and had skipped right over them. Really digging the album. Other than the electronic foundation of a lot of the songs, I don't yet hear the Radiohead connection.

They're playing at a small local club in March. Show is sold out and hoping to score tix on the secondary market.

They did a live show on FUV in NY and killed it. These guys are the real deal live.

Maybe I can talk you and bad brains into going with me?

Love them, especially the new album. My review you can catch on my blog. Saw them live when they opened for MGMT in Seattle a few years back, they blew the roof off the doors, MGMT couldn't hold a candle compared to them and I ended up walking out of MGMT.

Yes Indifferece, they are so good. Both their albums are on steady rotation in my music arsenal. Wow! I love how the crowd just takes over singing the song in this version. Very cool, his smile says it all.

I'm going to have to give them another try. I got one of their albums and haven't played it since the first spin months ago. Didn't do much for me then but I'll have to dust it off
I'm like an opening band for your mom.
