Limelight would work. So would BU2B from Clockwork Angels. BU2B is kind of a rush version of Getaway.

    Working Man!

they could add it to the better, nothing, leather trilogy.

If I had known then what I know now...

Maybe it's because I've listened to Cleveland radio for most of my life and that is where Rush took off. Working man, at least in this radio market, has been so terribly overplayed. Personally, I would rather have just about anything else. Well, I feel the same about Tom Sawyer, too. I would very happily roll with Subdivisions, though.

I think that there are some bands that either you love or you don't. Rush is probably one of those. I have a coworker rather stunned that I am one of the few females that he knows who loves Rush. But like I said in the previous post on this thread, I've listened to Cleveland radio forever. Rush got their big break here. As a result, they played it-- a lot. I'm good with that.

I have to add a P.S. to that. They play country music here A LOT and I will never, ever get that. :shutter: Just can't do it.

It took me a while to get used to Geddy's voice...
but I started listening to Rush when Caress Of Steel came out in the mid 70's!!!
I got to see them open for Ted Nugent at the Coliseum in Indianapolis back in 1976 on the 2112 tour...and then 3 or 4 times at Louisville Gardens on the All The Worlds A Stage, Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres & I think even on the Moving Pictures tours,
I was in college then, so it might have been Indy for Moving Pictures.
Can't believe that was ALMOST 40 years ago...I'm so OLD!!!

I also saw them on the Signals tour at Market Square Arena in Indy, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas for TEXXAS Jam (with Ozzy Osbourne, .38 Special & Bryan Adams...weirdest combination of performers I ever saw!!) on the Grace Under Pressure tour.
My last Rush show was at The Coliseum in Richmond, VA on the Roll The Bones tour...but now you've got me thinking I should hit up a show on their next tour!!! :-bd

Rush also has an insanely loyal fan base. They almost broke up after Neil Peart lost his daughter and wife within about a year period. Their last two albums Snake & Arrows and Clockwork Angels were two of the best albums since Roll the Bones. Hopefully they will tour in 2015!
    6/26/98 & 6/27/98 - Alpine Valley, 10/9/00 - Allstate Arena - Rosemont, IL 6/18/2003 - United Center, 5/16/2006 - United Center,
5/17/2006 - United Center (7th row center, caught Eddie's pick), 6/29/2006 - Summerfest with Tom Petty,
    8/24/2009 - United Center, 7/19/2013 - Wrigley Field, 10/3/2014 - St Louis, 10/17/2014 - Moline (GA), 10/20/2014 - Milwaukee,
    5/14/2015 - Pete Townshend/EV, 8/20/16 & 8/22/16 Wrigley Field Part 2&3, 8/18/18 & 8/20/18 Wrigley Parts 4 & 5, 9/18/2022 - St Louis
All Chicago Wrigley and United Center shows (not worth listing out )

I've watched the documentary / concert movies released in the last few years...
I think one of them was shot in Cleveland!!
I always had a GREAT time at their shows...
really should go back & see them again on their next tour!!

My husband's a Columbus fellow too, and while you may have a few years on him (no offense! :D), he also saw the Dead ages ago, at Buckeye Lake.

I never really got into them, but Rush? A common love.

Never been to a show at Buckeye Lake,
