Just a super big hunch, PJ returns to Austin...Texas!

As Eddie Vedder would say "Guaranteed"

and headlines the ACL Festival, see you all on Barton Springs Road before we head into Zilker Park, when they close out the Festival 9/28!

    If this were to happen it would make up for them not playing Texas since '03.

    Don't want to get my hopes up though.

    C3 (Capitol Sports Entertainment) out of Austin, puts on both Lolla and ACL, this plan has been in place for a while, Eddie met with the C3 guys back when RHCP headlined Lolla the year before PJ played...

    Radiohead will more then likely headline Lolla and PJ Austin, which makes sense...C3 was more then pleased with PJ's Lolla appearance, and Zilker Park is the perfect venue for Pearl Jam, too cool!

    Would be nice if you're correct. I just got an email about potential early tickets going up on Feb 2.

    Can you give any other concrete data?

    Makes me hope an appearance on the television show could happen as well.

    it's the day after my Birthday so I'd HAVE TO go!..but as I'm already plannign on going to Bonnaroo..will have really NO money left :(

    so I kind of hope not... :p

    i've been hoping this for years. i really thought they were gonna headline last year, and really really thinking this past year was gonna be it. there were lots of rumors going on days before the big announcement. but as you all know, no pj fo austin.

    yes, this would have to affect Bonnaroo...unless PJ is just doing a huge tour this year...

    The two are mutually exclusive:

    Bonnaroo is June 12-15 in Tennessee
    Austin City Limits Festival is Sept 26-28 in Texas

    They're not really an either/or situation. PJ could certainly play both, even if it's not part of a huge tour.
