I'm guessing/hoping he's still looking for advocate. Or he's busy making sand kasten and leave wast anywhere.

that's the same exact point i was trying to make.
when PJ tickets were $20ish dollars and "we" were teenagers it was still attainable, still possible, though not always easy.
how is a 16 year old working part time making $7.25 an hour supposed to afford a $160 charge several months in advance?
NOWadays "we" got minivans and mortgages and salaries that are not minimum wage. it's easier for "us" now compared to 15-20 years about but the "new blood" fans have to work like extra hard if they wanna get into a PJ show now.NYC 06/24/08-Auckland 11/27/09-Chch 11/29/09-Newark 05/18/10-Atlanta 09/22/12-Chicago 07/19/13-Brooklyn 10/18/13 & 10/19/13-Hartford 10/25/13-Baltimore 10/27/13-Auckland 1/17/14-GC 1/19/14-Melbourne 1/24/14-Sydney 1/26/14-Amsterdam 6/16/14 & 6/17/14-Milan 6/20/14-Berlin 6/26/14-Leeds 7/8/14-Milton Keynes 7/11/14-St. Louis 10/3/14-NYC 9/26/15

DAMN STRAIGHT! Hey you guys think we can ship him over here for less than $414? Maybe skip on the tracking number to save some money? Stefan HAS TO BE HERE NEXT TOUR! We're taking donations now for his ticket. I have a feeling he's gonna want to have the best seats in the house, preferably next to Boom.lolobugg said:

my bro and I were at Moline, toward the back of GA in front of Mike, and we couldn't figure out if the younger crowd stares were because they were impressed with our over-50 jumping around or waiting for us to drop...I want to rock and roll all night, and part of every day. - M. McCready0

It was as easy for the 30/40 yr olds in 1993 as it is for us today. A 16 yr old today asks mommy and daddy just as we did when we were 16ldent42 said:that's the same exact point i was trying to make.

That's true. $50 in my university days was probably a lot more to me than $150 now. I really had to scrounge for money to see shows. We did crazy stuff like drive from Portland to Boise overnight so we didn't have to check into a hotel (saved money). We checked in the hotel stupid early (which was cool they let us do that) and got a few hours sleep.. lol...2-feign-reluctance said:
Sure, but us 30/40 year olds also remember what that was like when the band was rampaging across the globe in those early days and even $20 + a ticket, plus gas, food and t-shirt back then was a lot of $ for a 16 year old working part time at $4.75 an hour.
There's so many concerts I went to in Vancouver and slept overnight at the ferry terminal. Now its completely different. Gas/Ferry/Transit/Ticket/Hotel... still doesn't feel as bad as back then... but there was something Epic about the low budget trips0 -
I'm 37 and went in for an eye doctor appointment a month or so ago. The eye doctor said when people to get to middle age the problem I had can pop up. All I could think of was Fuck I just got called middle aged for the first time... I suppose I am as I'm right around 40 which is considered the halfway point of the human lifespan.. but to hear the doctor say it.. it made me feel old... hahaSD48277 said:Wait...did someone just call me old?

I just turned 35 a month ago. My mum-in-law pointed out that I'm pretty much middle aged now. Yeah, thanks...Zod said:

Pearl jam has always been there for me. Pearl jam has been what I've turned to when times were tough and when times were good. Pearl jam was there when I graduated high school and college. Pearl jam was there on my wedding day. Pearl jam was there on the way home from the hospital after all three of my kids were born.
Pearl jam was there when I spent 6 days in the hospital after crushing my left hand. They were there in the following 8 months of surgeries and physical therapy. They were there when my grandpa died and when my high school friend and Indiana Highway Patrolman Scott Patrick was killed.
When did we become old? When I realized they have been there for 24 of my 36 years of life. I hope it continues for a long time to come.0 -
